Event Description:
This workshop is a perfect introduction to the craft of wool felting. What wool felting is and the technique of producing fiber sculptures will be explained. Once you have built your first snowman, you will be skilled in making all types of three dimensional figures.
The kit includes everything you need to get started: needles, felting handle, scissors, finger covers, foam pad, awl, and glue stick all stored in a container, plus the wool roving for the snowman.
Because wool felting uses extremely sharp needles, parents should use discretion in enrolling young children.
The snowman makes an adorable gift or ornament to hang on your Christmas tree.
