(Rain date is Sunday, June 30th)

The Festival takes place:
  • Along the bank of the Connecticut River at Harbor Park
  • On the front lawn of the City Hall at 245 deKoven Drive

CITY HALL LAWN - @ DEKOVEN DRIVE STAGE
Greetings and opening remarks by Mayor Daniel T. Drew
 
5pm – 10pm
CITY HALL LAWN - @ DEKOVEN DRIVE STAGE
Live Music: Original Acoustic Music for Children and Families featuring: Nekita Waller-Emcee
Jeff McQuillan (producer-musician), Le’Mixx (8 piece band), David Oquendo and the Latin Fingertips
(7 piece band), Mikata (Percussionists) Terrance Shider (pianist), Jerome Walker (rap artist)
 
Kids Zone: Crafts for kids and all ages; face painting; interactive circus demonstrations and more!
 
6:30pm – 7:30pm
@ HARBOR PARK
Live Music: The Middletown High School Jazz Ensemble will perform an
extended set at the Harbor Park location.
 
8:30pm – 10pm
CITY HALL LAWN - @ DEKOVEN DRIVE STAGE
9:30pm countdown by Mayor Daniel T. Drew
Live Music: Middletown Symphonic Band presents live music during the entire Fireworks Display!
The Fireworks Display will be shot on the river, and the approximate start time is 9:30pm.
 
Parking is Free in City Parking Lots & Main Street!
 
Food Vendors will be located at:
  • Lower Court Street
  • deKoven Drive
  • Harbor Drive
Road Closures include:
  • deKoven Drive at Washington Street: (no southbound traffic) 10am – 11pm.
  • Court Street: (between Melilli Plaza and DeKoven Drive): 2pm – 11pm.
  • Harbor Drive: 7pm – 11pm.
  • deKoven Drive: 7pm – 11pm.
  • Dingwall Drive: closed between Metro Square and Dekoven Drive 7pm – 11pm.
  • MLK Way: closed between Metro Square and Dekoven Drive 7pm – 11pm.
  • River Road: closed between Harbor Drive and Walnut Street 7pm – 11pm.
  • Eastern Drive: between Silver Street and River Road (southbound traffic only) 7pm – 11pm.
                        ** Access to Eastern Drive via Walnut Street to River Road
 
Parking Restrictions:
  • Parking permitted in the Jackson Corrugated Lot on River Road until road closes at 7 p.m.  All cars parked in this lot must exit immediately following fireworks.
Parking Locations:
  • Main Street
  • Municipal Parking Lots
  • Commuter Parking Lot (Eastern Drive)
  • Connecticut Valley Hospital Grounds 
  • Jackson Corrugated Lot (access from Walnut Street to River Road)
Handicapped Parking:
  • South Parking Lot on Harbor Drive
  • Upper City Hall Parking Lot
Spectator Viewing:
  • City Hall Area
  • Harbor Area
  • Connecticut Valley Hospital Grounds
