Immediately following the breakfast, please join us for
"The Vaping Epidemic - The Truth and Consequences" Workshop
- Barbara Walsh from the State Department of Health will give a presentation on the general knowledge and effects of vaping.
- Dr. Michael Kalinowski from Durham Middlefield Local Wellness Coalition will speak on the negative health effects of vaping in the work place.
- Erica Skoutas from Hartford HealthCare Rushford, will present vaping devices and other paraphernalia. Her presentation increases the awareness of what e-cigarette and vaping devices look like and potential ways to hide this addiction. Erica will also be sharing smoking cessation resources that are available for those looking to quit.
This workshop is presented by the City of Middletown, Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce and the Middlesex County Substance Abuse Action Council (MCSAAC)
