Overview
Logo Thread is a dynamic local business specializing in custom embroidered and printed apparel, promotional products, and team stores. We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Design & Sales Coordinator to be the primary point of contact for customer orders, manage sales leads, and create visual proofs. This position is ideal for a current college student seeking hands-on experience in graphic design and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Quoting Management (Primary Focus)
- 
	Generate and send detailed quotes/estimates to customers based on their product selection, decoration method, and quantity requirements. 
- 
	Track and follow up on all open quotes and sales leads received via email, text, chat, and walk-ins to convert them into confirmed orders. 
- 
	Utilize our tracking software to manage the sales pipeline and communication history. 
2. Digital Proofing & Mockups
- 
	Create digital mockups and proofs of customer logos and designs on specific garments or products using Adobe Illustrator or similar software. 
- 
	Communicate with customers to secure final design approvals prior to placing blank goods orders or starting production. 
- 
	Maintain an organized system for managing customer artwork and proof files. 
3. Customer Service & Front Desk Support
- 
	Serve as the friendly and professional first point of contact for walk-in customers and phone calls. 
- 
	Advise customers on product selection, sizing, decoration options, and artwork best practices. 
- 
	Process order payments and coordinate pickups/shipping logistics. 
4. Administrative & Operations Assistance
- 
	Prepare comprehensive work orders with final proof, thread colors, and detailed instructions for the production team. 
- 
	Assist with invoicing, inventory organization, and general office duties. 
Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
- 
	Design Aptitude: Proficiency (or the strong ability/desire to quickly learn proficiency) in graphic design software like Adobe Illustrator for creating basic mockups, sizing, and color separations. 
- 
	Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable discussing pricing and order details with customers. 
- 
	Strong numerical and administrative skills for accurately generating estimates and handling invoices. 
- 
	Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail to ensure proofs and quotes are error-free. 
- 
	Self-motivated, proactive, and reliable—capable of managing a busy flow of leads and follow-up tasks.
