CT's New Consumer Data Privacy Law

presented by:
 Attorney Dena Castricone from DMC Law

Last summer, Connecticut became the fifth state in the country to pass comprehensive consumer privacy legislation.  That new law, known as the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), takes effect July 1, 2023.  Are you and your clients prepared?  Join Dena M. Castricone from DMC Law and State Assistant Attorney General John Neumon for this timely program during which they will outline the CTDPA’s applicability, compliance requirements, and enforcement mechanisms.
  • Explore who is subject to the law and who is exempt;
  • Review business obligations and consumer rights;
  • Discuss enforcement of the CTDPA; and
  • Consider strategies for compliance where more than one state’s data privacy rules apply.
