#CTHopeInAction The CT RACE IN THE PARK returns in-person to beautiful Walnut Hill Park this Mother’s Day Weekend. The beloved annual tradition is back and better than ever! Participants can support this great cause and be a part of the action by choosing from the 5K Run or the 4K/1 Mile Walk.
*Kids are encouraged to get in on the action too and sign up for the Kids Fun Run.
-OR- Sign up for the Virtual 5k and Run/walk a 5K at your leisure and at your desired location May 12th – May 14th, post your race time and compete with supporters from around the world!
Sign up to join The RACE, pledge support or become a valuable sponsor and join thousands in honoring survivors, remembering loved ones, celebrating life and most importantly, raising much needed funds to advance the fight against breast cancer in Connecticut.

The CT Breast Health Initiative is proud to be partnering with the Hartford Marathon Foundation this year to bring you registration for the CT RACE IN THE PARK.
If you are having trouble registering online and need immediate assistance, you may contact support@hakusports.com or by phone, 844-299-2087, Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Or, you may send an email to registration@hartfordmarathon.com and a staff person will provide assistance by reply email.
Participants can confirm they have registered by logging into their HAKU PARTICIPANT ACCOUNT.
To begin, input the email address used at the time of registration. Once logged-in, you can view your upcoming events, suggested events, and, if applicable, change events and manage or view teams and others that you’ve registered.
Note: If you have any questions, click the “we are online” popup in the bottom right corner, or the question mark icon in the top right corner.
PACKET PICKUP:
All participants must show a Photo ID to pick up their packets (parent/guardian of minors must show ID).
Friday, May 12 (Day Before RACE): 12 PM to 6 PM, Walnut Hill Park, New Britain, CT
Saturday, May 13 (RACE Day): 6:30 AM to 10 AM, Walnut Hill Park, New Britain, CT
• Online and in-person registration remains open until 30 minutes before each specific event starts
Note: To designate someone to pick up another runner’s event packet, the designee must bring or show a copy of this signed waiver/permission slip. Photocopies or phone pictures of the form will be accepted.
UPGRADES:
SURVIVOR BREAKFAST GUEST TICKETS:
Registered survivors for the CT RACE IN THE PARK now have the option to bring a guest to the Survivor breakfast with them, for just $15 (per guest)!
MAIL MY PACKET:
For the convenience of runners who plan to come to New Britain on Saturday only, the mail my packet option is available during online registration for $20 per packet and must be reserved by April 16, 2023. If you purchase my packet, you can expect to receive your packet by May 8th.
If you are interested in any of the above listed upgrades, use the following steps to add them to your event day experience:

• OR, after you’ve registered for the event by logging in to your HAKU PARTICIPANT ACCOUNT
REFUND PROTECTION:
Refund Protection is available for purchase at the time of registration only.
Please note that refundable booking claims will be administered by the Protect Group, not by the Hartford Marathon Foundation or Connecticut Breast Health Initiative. If opting to add refund protection during event registration, participants pay an additional service fee of 14% of all items purchased, excluding event processing fees. Registered participants who have purchased refund protection and are unable to participate in the race for a wide range of covered scenarios will receive a 100% refund of their entry fee and ancillary purchases within 10 business days of the claim submission.

SHUTTLE BUS TRANSPORTATION:
Complimentary shuttle bus transportation from the above-mentioned parking garages to Walnut Hill Park will be available on race day for all registered participants. The shuttle bus transportation will drop off and pick up participants adjacent to the Walnut Hill Park Bandshell, on Grand Street.
